It is now hard to imagine that, at one time, Guy Buses were very popular in Hong Kong.
Hong Kong had two of the largest city bus company fleets in the world. China Motor Bus and Kowloon Motor Bus. CMB favoured the Guy Arab for it’s reliability and performance, especially on the hilly routes with high temperatures and humidity. Hundreds of Guy Arab buses were exported to Hong Kong.

Many of these buses were re-bodied to keep them in service for as long as possible.
In the factory or on the roads of Wolverhampton, it was a familiar sight to see an Arab bus chassis on test or out for delivery to the docks.
