The Wulfrunian was, at it’s launch in 1959, the most advanced passenger vehicle in the world. It featured air suspension and disc brakes at a time when these were not generally applied to bus designs. Sadly, the advances proved to be less reliable than the previous designs, and caused Guy to lose reputation and orders for the Wulfrunian. The cost of the rectifications, and also problems in the South African market eventually led to the companies financial ruin.
